Role Overview

The NPD Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing new product development projects by aligning cross-functional teams, customer requirements, and quality standards to ensure on-time and successful SOP.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) by aligning expert tasks with overall project targets using a List of Open Points (LOP).

* Develop and maintain detailed Microsoft Project (MSP) plans, including internal, supplier, and customer milestones..

* Define and close project phases through Quality Gate Reviews.

* Conduct weekly project review meetings with CFT and status teleconferences with customers.

* Lead customer meetings (minimum one per project phase) to present consolidated project status.

* Continuously update Project Risk Assessment, Cost of Production (COP), Project Budget, PSP, and MSP.

* Ensure adherence to DCR / ECR processes during project execution.

* Ensure APQP, PPAP, and QE requirements are fulfilled throughout the development cycle.

* Support customer events, priorities, and requirements during the development phase.

* VA / VE methodologies

* Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

* Strong project planning, coordination, and communication skills

Qualification: B.Tech(Mech Eng)  • Experience: 10–15 years
