Sr. Engineer – QE-NPD
Role Overview
Responsible for executing quality engineering activities during the new product development phase by ensuring compliance with customer requirements, quality systems, and automotive standards. The role supports project reviews, APQP/PPAP activities, and customer interactions to enable successful product validation and launch.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform quality engineering activities during the development phase
• Support the Quality Head in reviewing project status against defined milestones
• Contribute to APQP and PPAP activities as per customer, AIAG, and internal procedures
• Develop and validate checking fixtures and gauges for new product development
• Understand and implement customer-specific quality requirements and standards
• Inspect and release parts during new product development as per quality gates
• Interact with customers on quality-related topics and issues during development
• Conduct new supplier audits in line with customer requirements, IATF guidelines, and internal procedures
• Participate in CFT meetings for allocated projects on quality-related points

Release parts after validation in line with project events and quality gates
